June 28, 2022 Runoff Election Information
A Special Runoff Election has been ordered to fill the position of City Council Place 6.
Article V, Section 5.06 of the Port Aransas City Charter states "In the event no candidate for an elective office receives a majority of the votes cast for that position in the regular or special election or if there is a tie for first place, a run-off election shall be held between the two (2) candidates who received the greatest number of votes."
