Boards And Commissions

The City Council is committed to appointing highly qualified and dedicated individuals to the City of Port Aransas Boards, Commissions, and Committees. The application process takes place from the first of May through October each year, with membership appointments beginning on the first of June.

If you are interested in serving on a Board, Commission, or Committee, please complete the application and submit it to the City Secretary at 710 W. Avenue A, Port Aransas, TX 78373-4128 or via facsimile at (361) 749-4101 or via email to [email protected].

Mayor Moore and the City Council encourage you to apply even if the Board or Commission you wish to serve on has few or no openings. All remaining applications are reviewed throughout the year to fill vacancies, to serve on ad hoc task forces, or to assist on temporary committees established to review specific, short-term issues.
