November 8, 2022 City of Port Aransas General Obligation Bond Election Information
A Special Election has been ordered to determine whether the Port Aransas City Council should issue General Obligation Bonds of the City.
What Is On The Ballot
Proposition A
This proposition, if approved by voters, would provide funding for making permanent public improvements or other public purposes, to wit: designing, demolishing, constructing, renovating, improving, reconstructing, restructuring and extending streets and thoroughfares and related land and right-of-way sidewalks, streetscapes, collectors, drainage, landscape, signage, upgrading technology and traffic signals, acquiring lands and rights-of-way necessary thereto or incidental therewith and installing related public art.
